We booked this tour by email and had a very interesting afternoon here. We were given a tour of the area where the barrels are stored during the aging process. It was interesting to hear how the different types of sherry are produced and the effect of length of aging on the taste and colour. We then has a tasting... More

We visited Bodegas Tradicion during a holiday in Cadiz, having seen it in a UK TV programme. We booked the visit by email and were the only 2 to be shown round. We are both familiar with the production of whisky and beer, but did not know much about the process for sherry. It turned out to be very interesting... More

I spent a very interesting and enjoyable afternoon here. The tour is a walk around the bodega, a visit to the art collection and sherry tasting. The sherries are delicious. They are clearly a cut above the 'normal' stuff and it was great to hear about how they are made. A delightful addition was a visit to see the art... More

I booked a tour online and received a prompt reply. And they accepted my late confirmation without a problem. The tour was in 3 parts - the first was a look at the private Art Collection which was quite impressive - especially the El Greco. The tour guide gave a quick overview of the paintings, but a bit more history... More

We had a conducted tour, a view of the gallery and a tasting. Our Austrian guide spoke excellent English and gave a good explanation of the making of sherry. This was followed by an enjoyable and informative tasting of 6 sherries. I am now resolved to drink a lot more sherry. The gallery has art of the highest quality yet... More

Interesting tour. Great art gallery. Didn't enjoy the sherries compared to marques real tesoro or even too Pepe.

A great couple of hours in the company of ulrika who showed us around, gave us time to enjoy the excellent gallery and then expertly led us through the tasting As a complete sherry novice it was a real education.

We made a reservation for between Christmas and new year. The art gallery was excellent with a good guide to describe the works. Then we toured the atmospheric bodega and tasted 5 sherries and a brandy. All were excellent, particularly the fino which was exceptional. I have always wanted to try old sherry and this is the place to do... More

This is the bodega to visit if you want old (VOR) or very old (VORS) sherry. They make six sherrys, all of them at least 20 years, some over 30 and one 45 years old. And in our humble opinion: the older the solera, the better. Their fino is just fantastic but even better is the amontillado but best is... More
