The portico, was built by the first century AD and was coated marble. The Corinthian columns are continuing a tico.

Just up from the temple of Diana on the way to the theatre. The trouble is it's surrounded by ugly houses/backdrop. But it's free to gaze upon and wonder

If you are visiting the center of Merida, the Forum is easily walkable from the Templo de Diana or the The Amphitheatre, and helps complete the historical picture of Roman Merida.

Another one of those historical places you find round a corner in an otherwise typical Spanish neighbourhood. It is quite beautiful and well worth a visit.

This is right in the middle of all the roman sites, so even though there isn't much left it is still worth a visit
