This has to be one of the hidden treasures of European museums. It's collection, devoted largely to Spanish medieval art, includes a large sample of frescoes, second only to the collection in the MNAC in Barcelona. The displays are lovely, the staff is charming and...More

The history in this area is unbelievable. I am amazed at the ability of people who had much less technology than we do today!

If you like art and enjoy Romanic paintings, this is one of the places to go to. Don't miss out the Three Wise Men tableau from the church in Navasa, a masterpiece.

Though I am not religious, this museum is worth a visit for it's art collection. The museum and the cathedral give an appreciation of the history and faith of Jaca.

Very interesting pieces belonging to the cathedral but also to nearby churches. The pieces have been brought in to be preserved. Make sure to sign up for the tour since it includes the museum tour and a visit to the convention de las Benitas.
