Interesting tower in the Noordwijk beach . It's big tall and white with a light on the top. If you are on the beach you can't miss it.

Just near Beach hotel

It is dominating at one site of Boulevard. In the night it was lightened with different colors. It was amazing.

Noordwijk Lighthouse dating from 1921

The white lighthouse in Noordwijk aan Zee was build in 1921 and is one of only a few remarkable buildings in the resort.Unlike in many towns in the Netherlands, architectural preservation was not a major concern near the beach and few remarkable buildings remain in Noordwijk aan Zee.

Fake or real??

The Noordwijk lighthouse does look the part at daytime, it even (timidly...) emits a few beams of light in the early evening. But as I went for a beach walk at approx. 01:00 am it was completely dark and felt like a fake tourist trap. Fitting for a cheap seaside resort perhaps, but does Noordwijk need fake tourist traps?? Seriously sad...

Typical lighthouse

Came to the beach for a few hrs and came accross this delightful white lighthouse.
Built in 1921 nice iconic structure.
Shame didn't get to see it lit up at night with the different colours.
It's good to see small beach towns still using lighthouses.

This is the type of thing to see when you are in the area it’s just there and it’s for everyone to see when you walk past .. it is a monument and worthwhile , don’t especially go out to see this but make sure you have a list of things to do , the beach is nearby and so are some lovely restaurants .

Beautiful transparent skylight

Beautiful slender white lighthouse at the end of the boulevard from the 1920s. The completely transparent light house is striking. Very similar to the Harlingen lighthouse, which was designed by the same architect Jelsma.
