Played as part of a group of 8 on 8th May 2017 and found the course to be in pretty good condition for the price category that this course sits in. Started on the 10th and 10/12/17 had been hollow-tined but the greens still ran well. Course is a fair test, tight in places with a par 3 SI18 at... More

We played three of the Oceanico (soon to be Dom Pedro) courses on our trip and deliberately booked pinhal last as having researched in advance was looking forward to it the most. Firstly, the golf course is excellent. A great range of holes, expertly designed. Watch out for the trees as they are plentiful and very unforgiving. The front 9... More

Unfortunately, our experience at Pinhal was not good. We teed off at 2pm and It became apparent quite early on in our round that play was going to be slow - we had to wait a long time to play every shot. Now, we are all experienced golfers and have been coming to Vilamoura for over 12 years, so we... More

A nice course in good condition and very nice greens, but there is a lot of walking between tees and it can be quite hilly in comparison to the other in the Oceanicio group. Ladies tees very friendly and well ahead of the mens tees, everything clean and tidy and very pleasing on the eye.

This is a good quality course and good value, compared to more expensive courses nearby. The terrain is very good and course in good condition too. We enjoyed he clubhouse, which had good service, good food and a pleasant ambience. The golf Shop is extensive and changing facilities good also. We found the course challenging and tested us throughout each... More

First of the five Oceanico course a and it was very good. Plenty of trees, but the fairways were wide enough. Greens were not too quick and have some grip, due to recent rain. Very good facilities and worth playing.

We played the Pinhal as the last of five corses on the Oceanica and it was worth the wait. It receives four stars rather than 5 as I preferred the old course but The Pinhal is well worth playing. As with the Old Course there are plenty of narrow fairways and ball snaffling pines but eminently playable if the ball... More

Pinhal was our second course we played (1st Laguna ), and what a difference ! Lovely welcome from the staff, unlike at Laguna. See my review ! We had to start on 10th Tee and the starter could not have been more helpful, from showing us the way and giving a few tips.( front 9 much harder ) and having... More
