This is a very popular (and extremely beautiful) lake in the North Kawartha region of Ontario Canada. Foursquare has it as a location along with many businesses in the area.

Chandos Lake is shallow, sandy and warm water. You are able to walk out a great distance with a lovely sand bottom.

Majestic, great place to relax and forget the city life. Beautiful lake with breathtaking sunsets. If you do crave somewhat of a city life then Bancroft is about 1hr away and yes it does have a Tim Horton's.
