The somnath temple is the only attraction in the area. The place is very commercialized. Better option is to stay only to visit the temple and head towards to diu which is a better place and just 60 kms.

This Somnath Temple was destroyed many time and reconstructed even better temple. Current temple was constructed in 1951. It is one of the best pilgrim and tourist spot of Gujarat.

I am back on 19th July , weather is very good , it was raining in Jamnagar & surroundings , but somnath was all ok . It was good pleasant weather , August wd be more good. Have pleasant stay .
