Wanted to take the sky chair to the park but since the top half closed the day before and the weather was iffy, we hired a driver for around $85US for the trip. We stopped in Santa Elena for a bit, but if it is...More

We heard about the park from the owner of our hostel and spent half a day here. This was far too little time to get a good view of the park. But we believe it's quite touristic. For example: you can only walk the paved...More

The ride up/down in the cable car alone is worth the trip for the amazing views. The city suddenly stops and the trees of the park begin. We didn't have long in the park so we browsed the stalls and bought a pot of delicious...More

I used to visit this place a lot when I was living in Medellin. It is a great place to spend a relaxing day, walking and having a picnic in the middle of the forest.

I read some of the reviews before I went to the Parque Arvi. I think many of the reviews are a bit misleading. Parque Arvi is like many National Parks in that you really need to plan in advance what you want to do before...More

This is a nice park to stroll. Hikes have to be escorted but you can walk and see some sights on your own. Fun day

The thing with the parque arvi is that the moment you get off the metrocable you get herded into these touristy presentations where they try to set you up with a guide and blah blah blah. Most people get stuck on this "stroll" that only...More
