Located amidst the serene Jaintia Hills this 500 year old Durga temple is home to Maa "Jainteshwari" or "Jayanti" with "Kramadishwar" as her Bhairava. The last few hundred meters of the road leading to this nice temple are not paved. The temple itself is small but beautiful.

This mandir goes back more than 500yrs. Located in nartiang, approx 65kms from Shillong. Small but rich in historic and cultural values.

keep a day for jowai trip, keep water bottle and some food along with u but road was not so good so prepared for that too during jaintia king used to held to "bali pratha" of HUMAN but now Human sacrifice was banned during British rule and goats are now sacrificed.
