We went there from Shirdi. It was an awesome 4 hour trip. Hilly driving and amazing views. for visiting the temple one has to walk downstairs from top of hill. for old people railings are provided. if you are planning a shirdi tour this should be an inclusion. Awesome tasty maizes are available.

JYOTIRLINGA TEMPLE. If you are driving from Pune, then take the Manchar route. Avoid deviation at Rajgurunagar. Though it's the short route, the road condition is very bad. This temple is nestled in the hills. After parking your vehicle, you'll have to go down the steps. Around 250 steps you are supposed to be there. Have a nice Darshan and... More

Very adventurous journey by road and makes you feel on top of the world. Must visit and has a calming effect. Improvements suggested : 1. Parking is available for rs30 near temple....people should not park on road and cause traffic jam 2. Toilet facilities are unusable. 3. Queue management very poor... people jumping line and going directly by paying security... More

Bhimashankar temple is 110km away from PCMC/Pune ,either u can hire a cab or can go on ur vehicle. It is quite a treacherous pathway before reaching to temple so an expert should be there who can drive on a long stretch. The bhimashankar temple is surrounded by thick forests. There is poor facility of public toilet especially for ladies.... More

Intraday trip from Pune, loaded with >50% single and bad roads - bumpy all along. If you plan to visit on a holiday, be prepared for wasting a lot of time trying to find a parking space, most of which will be on the road and thereby blocking oncoming and going traffic. Once you reach the temple, if there is... More

Rarely you are able to touch Shivling, here in this temple its possible, also try to go there around 12, where you can see the original Ling when they take off the silver cover.
