This place has nothing to see, apart from the fortified high walls of an enclosure where allegedly, all enemies of the state were kept till they died of thirst and hunger. Local folklore say,how people who were against the Malla kings were thrown into the small enclosure with high walls till they died. It was a kind of slow and painful execution,and... More

A weird-looking rectangular structure. A lot of history associated with it. No one can enter this place. Liked it.

As the name suggests this is the execution site for the convicted prisoners. These days it is not open to the visitors. In case you're visiting to Bankura, this is a place you should come across while traveling around.

Execution room or Grannary - nobody knows for sure. However this monument stands pretty close to the Rani Bandh area in Bishnupur.

As the name suggests, this seems like an omnious place which you can just pass by on the way to other monuments. Anyone who had to be punished would be encased within these walls and be never seen again. Gives a creepy feeling just walking past it... a real feel into history !!

This used to be the execution site of the Malla kings. There are hidden chambers inside with deep wells and sharpened swords to kill the convicts. However in 2006 or so someone committed suicide jumping from its top and the site has been closed for visitors thereafter.
