It is one of most popular temples in the world. One can go around the 18 siddha temple on full moon day , popularly known as giri valam (around the arunachala hill). Another popular thing is the karthicka deepam, the light on the hill.

The big annamalaiyar temple is in thiruvannamalai district, Tamil nadu. And the photos by the travelers also shows the same. The location in this post is a small annamalaiyar temple in puliampatti. Huge structure in the middle of rich agricultural land. Beware of crowds during festive seasons. Splendid indeed.

I think this refers to the view point which lies on the way to Skandasramam from Ramanasramam. You get a superb view of the Great Temple and the town whole town itself. You will also be able to see many of the roads leading into the town clearly.

We reached the temple around 12.30 p.m. and immediately joined the very big crowd in a long queue. It took us around half an hour to have the dharshan of Lord Annamalaiyar. The temple is a... More

Myself along with my parents visited Arunachalewarar temple last weekend, it was a wonderful temple. Inside the temple, at a particular place, we can able to view all the Gopurams. It was an Amazing view. Similarly in the pathway of Virupaksha cave and Skandasramam, wonderful view of the temple was seen.

In the pathway of Virupaksha and Skanda caves from behind Ramana Ashram, this spot gives you a wonderful view of the tempe and the town. Old temple towns in South India were built around the temple expanding in squares. You can still see the first set of squares around and inside the temple from here.
