This is a zoo in a beautiful setting, not just rows of cages, but avenues and hidden nooks. It is well set out with two designated routes enabling a comprehensive tour. There is plenty of shade and seats. The animals are all in superb condition and obviously well cared for. All are easy to view, especially giraffe and big cats. Some areas are... More

Went more as a means of keeping the kids occupied for an afternoon and ending up enjoying the visit myself. There's a large range of animals, quite a few big cats which interested me. We arrived at the vulture aviary at feeding time, people are allowed in with the keeper whilst he feeds them. It was pretty graphic as they... More

We went here with 5 children aged 1-8, 4 adults The Zoo is very well laid out. There is not too much walking which is good with young kids. The animals all seem to have a perfect amount of space, not over crowded at all and all well cared for. A small play ground and bouncy castle at the end... More

What a good zoo to visit. Spent several hours there. Very clean and tidy and the staff were very pleasent and friendly. The resteraunt was good with everything freshly cooked and clean and nicely set out. Even though it was busy it did not feel crowded. The mountain sheep enclosure is amazing and looks natural. If you are in the area... More

We recently visited this zoo with our 2 lads (aged 4 and 9 months), and had a ally good time walking around. The whole site is pushchair-friendly and there are regular feeding sessions of a variety of animals that you can take part in (these are all in French, but you can get the idea quite easily); our eldest fed... What a really lovely Zoo. The animals are well cared for in large enclosures and yet the public can get real close to them. In fact in some areas you can inter react with them. A really nice day out and will probably return on another visit to Normandy.

We went on a grand day out to the zoo. 3 families worth, 7 adults and 7 children with ages from 4 to 9.. You are met with a bouncy castle (refreshingly free) and a small guinea-pig area that is well looked after and the children can get up close to them... Most of the enclosures have both French and...
