These are sometimes advertised as Castle Hill Gardens for example by Historic House . This is misleading.

Beautiful grounds with amazing views, not so good for the mobility impaired, the best views are obviously from the higher levels, but the formal and walled gardens lovely nonetheless. Nice little tearoom serving fresh snacks at entrance from carpark.
Walk up to Castle we zig zagged it is worth the walk amazing views! Take a couple of hours over it as we did stopping off at a few weird things en route. Recommend the savoury tea with super watmed cheese scones. Great tea

My friends and I visited Castle Hill and were impressed with the gardens and parkland even in October.We finished our visit with a delicious light lunch which was served by a very friendly member of staff.
Gorgeous place - I visited in September and really enjoyed it despite the garden not being in full bloom. The scenery is fabulous and the walks are really relaxing. The gardens have something for everyone - streams, flowers, castle, majestic house, wondrous trees and gentle...More
