Went on recommendation and was very pleased with the food and service. Good was tasty, well cooked and plentiful. Atmosphere was just right, not noisy but friendly, all in a delightful old Devon thatched Inn.

Lovely pub, setting and staff. Disappointed that people who arrived and ordered after us were served first. Equally disappointed that something in my meal was very salty. I was told there was no salt added. Perhaps the monkfish comes in brine and needs rinsing!!??
