The pier is accessible via a long bridge passing on top of a beach. There is a sort of a museum and a bar on the bridge level. The bar is decorated like in the 60/70's with some nice furniture. There is the possibility to stay also outside, however, despite we were there in August, the place was closed. A... More

Pleasantly unexpected to find a beach and a pier. Although not the prettiest of piers. It was a great spring day a nice walk and such beautiful scenery. A great location to relax and take in the sea air and the views. A little bit of sunny relaxation.

It's a nice stroll to the end but the pier itself is a horrible construction that urgently needs a facelift. You have a view of the worst skyline of awful buildings on the dyke. Loose paint and cracks everywhere on the pier. I prefer the other pier on the other side of the beach. Much nicer + completely in wood.... More

We were blessed with sunny weather. Light wind and plenty of sunbathers on this February day. The coffee bar was warm on this sunny day, fisherman on the deck, good selection of beers (try the Kwak beer), wifi but sadly no pancakes nor food.

My favourite place in my lovely hometown ! You can just walk over the sea. Love it in the winter even more than in summer.

The Pier is a nice walk from the beach & boulevard. Although the exterior is pretty old, the restaurant inside looks modern. Unfortunately, the Storm exposition was closed when we wanted to visit it. Looks promising. Pay attention at the sea level between high and low tide. Looks very different!

When we arrived at Blankenberge, we headed for the pier. We had seen a picture of it and it looked quite attractive. What I didn’t expect were the many people sunbathing on the beach. Wow! There were also a lot of cabins for people to change. Its entrance showed clearly that this was the Belgium Pier. Right behind it is... More

Do not miss Blankenberge when your cruise ship berths at Zeebrugge it is a lovely lively seaside resort. Although the weather was cool it was still nice to walk along the very very long promenade and onto the pier. At the end there is a small cafe/bar where you can sit and look back at the most wonderful and ever... More

Some wood segments very shaky and scary, but thankfully, as we witnessed, pier is in the process of being rebuilt!
