    Beautiful little cala
We walked from our hotel in Tossa to this beautiful cala. The hike was costal crossing another little cala along the way. Through beautiful pine forests scented with rosemary. There are few up hill climbs and unstable spots but good walking sandles would be enough. It took us about 45 mins first time. The route is is easily followed by green markings as you go along. The pictures along the way are worth the walk. The beach itself isn't huge and did fill up quickly. As there is a camping hoilday park and lodge rentals close by. Also others walking from Tossa to enjoy throughout the day. The water here was calm, clear and perfect temperature. There is I believe some bar/shop far end of beach. But it is advisable to bring drinks snacks with you.

The best place ruined by pollution
a special place ruined by unsustainable tourism with boats, motorized dinghies, jet skis. the crystal clear waters of Cala Bona and Cala Pola visibly full of petrol and dirt. in my opinion, access to these vehicles should be regulated much more in these areas to preserve nature. Please do it before it will be late!!!

We would like to share our awful experience with Cala Pola camping site. We had 2 months in advance confirmed booking for 16 nights at whopping price of €1650 only for camping pitch. On arrival we were refused to check-in, because we were with tent. Our initial contact was by phone about camping pitches and facilities, question about tent was discussed, so we proceed to booking on line where we had written about coming with tent. Their website has clear mentioning about glamping tents and photos clearly showing people staying in tents. We spent 7 hours at reception waiting to be seen by member of management, who eventually said: "Sorry we forgot to mention about our new policies with tents".
After exhausted car drive from London, we were ruined….in particular our 9 years daughter, who literally was sobbing with tears in front of manager. No sympathy, no compassion.

What a place....4th visit, and the first since lockdown, and didn't let us down.
Hotel (SaReria) was superb (again) & the town, beaches, shops, bars, not to mention the castle - all fantastic.
Not forgetting, 3rd weekend is the VW boys arrive, hundreds of camper vans, buggies, Karnans and more.
Did we enjoy it....yes we did. 👍

Ok so let’s be honest this is not the easiest Cove to get to and the trip down the mountain is not for the faint hearted. However, it is the playground of the young and beautiful and one of the most beautiful unspoilt coves I have ever seen. The Cove is clearly an old smuggling location and the smugglers cut steps into the mountain to get their contraband out! It is a steep journey to the bottom of the mountain and then back up again. The steps are not very wide and not for the faint hearted, but if you are brave enough, then the views are truly amazing. For those lucky enough to own a yacht then you can join the rich and elite and anchor in the Cove to play. Rich or poor this is an amazing place to visit but young kids and okd people please come by boat or yacht.

Kayaked here from Tossa with my teen son. The beach was beautiful, but didn't spend more than about 30 minutes there as we forgot our bathing suits at the hotel and had rented the kayaks as well. We planned on hiking down tonthe Beach originally on our way back to Sant Feliu

Lovely hike! We are intermediate hikers, and we had no problem with the up and down. The only thing that caused us trouble was that we did not have our trail shoes. There are some rocky areas that were a little difficult, and we ended up only hiking 40-45 minutes out, then 40-45 back because my husband (also wearing old worn-out shoes) slipped. The hike was mostly in the shade, and the views of the water are fantastic. You can take the boat in one direction or both, but only in summer. In May midweek, the boat was not operating. Perhaps it operates on the week-end--I don't know.

I’m shocked this trail isn’t higher up on the things to do. After 5-10 minutes of walking you arrive at a beautiful vantage point where you can see the beach below and the entire castle. Another 5 minutes up and you can see all three Tossa beaches. Beyond that you walk along the bluffs and have great views of the coastline throughout. My wife and I snagged some of our favorite photos from our trip on this hike.

The trail is well maintained and there are beautiful lookout points throughout. The hike is moderately challenging. I did the hike in flip flops but you should wear hiking or running shoes if you’ve got them because it gets a bit slick in places.

This beach is right by the camp site. The water is very clear and nice for snorkling.
The sand is more like gravel, not fine sand.
