you can get an idea what it must be like in the sahara here, watch out for the nudist as some are not a pretty site and somethings you just can't unsee!

Dunes de Maspalomas Nov. 2017 Great place to walk into the nature and admire the breathtaking dunes. Recommended also to visit at Sunset. Nice beach and swimming place. (part of the beach is a nudist beach)

This a a huge stretch of sand. At first you see a high density of sunloungers, but it gets more spaced out as you walk along the beach towards Playa del Ingles. The sand is very soft, and unless you are along the shoreline on...More

Good for long walks. Water's pretty chilly for swimming. The views are great. However, prefer Plays Las Cantares any day.

This beach is a typical beach BUT with tons of nudes as a nude beach is part of the beach and there is no way to avoid it if you plan to walk the entire beach. As I did walk the entire 5km beach, I...More

Fantastic beach and sand dunes. Very popular walk which can be difficult at high tide where space to walk on hard sand is reduced. Just remember there are large areas of nudists and gays sections here, so not for everyone. I didn’t mind as so...More

Great walk along the seaside. Very relaxed. A jump into the ocean is a must. Take some water as there is limited opportunity to buy some.

Fantastic beach. Amazing dunes. A huge expanse and wildlife protected space with a lagoon . Take plenty of water with you if exploring the dunes. Quite mountainous in places. There are little kiosks doted along the seafront for refreshment. This is also a naturist area...More

Refreshingly, the nudist mingle amongst the dressed swimmers and no-one cares! Access is free and a few bars offering refreshments, planted directly on the beach, where the dunes descent to the Atlantic Ocean, provide a few stools to take breath for those who choose to...More

You can feel yourself like in a desert walking there. You can even sunbath in the middle of sanddunes if you do not like seafront. Beach itself is very clean and organized, shallow and suitable for kids also.

We are here at this moment. Around 24 degrees during daytime and sometimes a bit windy. In the evening it cools down to about 14 degrees. Some people dress like its wintertime, others run around in T-shirt.

I have always been able to find on street parking somewhere in the vicinity, which is free. There are also car parking buildings also available which you have to pay for. If you are fit and able, you might be lucky with... More
