Wonderful campground don’t forget your bikes. Kids had a great time swimming and biking. Great ice cream across the street.

Great location for all family members to have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Life is too short not to come & enjoy some quality time in nature!

This park is beautiful with a fantastic beach. The sites are large and private and very clean. The lake water was also very clean.

Found a lovely spot on the dog beach up until the mosquitos found us later in the day. Was great otherwise! The water is perfect.

While it is a beautiful campground, the mosquitoes are absolutely unreal this year. Despite constant mosquito spray and coils, the kids and adults are COVERED in mosquito bites. It’s so hard to enjoy the scenery and water with mosquitoes buzzing in your ears. I’m not sure I can come back here after this.

Don't worry about any signage that you may see...feel free to run your dog along the beach with everyone else's, and never mind the leash either...how will they run into people if they're on a leash?
Decent views if you're close enough to the beach, otherwise it can be a bit of a walk.
I can only imagine how crowded and crazy this place gets in the middle of summer.
Some real nice sites and some real crappy ones...if you plan on returning, make sure you jot down the number of the site(s) you want.

Stayed one night here at the end of our trip and wished I had spent my whole vacation year. Great sites. Beach. Lots of tails for kids to ride and have fun. Loved it. Booking next year!!!!

We just went for a picnic with family! Great place to cool off! Paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, motor boats. Would recommend for a pitstop!

We just spent 8 days in site 145 with no hook-ups. The site, like every site, is really nicely treed so stays pretty cool even in 30+ degree weather. We ran our generator for the 2 evening hours, cranked the A/C and cooked the trailer down before bed. Bathrooms and showers are clean and conveniently located. The bugs were bad for the first couple of days, but then died off in the heat. Not the park’s fault - it’s been super rainy so perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were less at the day-use beach than the campground beach. We bring our water shoes because the beach is rocky. Bring a wagon to haul all your beach stuff in and a screen room to put over your picnic table. Great park for biking with the family.

The mosquitos were terrible, we cut our long awaited holiday short because we could not stand being attacked by mosquitos everywhere we went. We also cancelled our subsequent trip there and doubt that we will go back again.

My other complaint was the state of the washrooms, they were dirty, garbages left unemptied from day to day, items left by campers not removed. Soap dispensers out of order!!! In a time when cleanliness is of the utmost importance.

We were shocked by the number of empty sites, and yet it has been impossible to get a site, the site showing everything completely booked.

This was previously our favorite camping destination, but no longer. The decision to not spray for mosquitos has seriously impacted the viability of this campground.
