Lots to do here, particularly looking for sand dollars at low tide in the lagoon - which is just achingly beautiful in the summer sunshine. Smelts Bay beach looking south and west is also a favourite spot for people to come and watch the sunsets....More

Scenery and beach is fantastic. The lagoon is amazing for a walk or a swim. Safe. Great place for children to enjoy the ocean

This lagoon fills with each change of the tide. When it empties out you can walk to an island and find plenty of clams and oysters with ease. It is a spectaclar setting,.
