Decided to find our way to this winery and we were glad we did. Quite small, but had a great conversation with the winemaker. I recommend the Seyval, my girlfriend recommends the Vidal!

Small winery in Murray River area. We did a free wine tasting of four of the wines. Great chatting with the owner about the property and his winemaking.

They only had one red and one wine for tastings, not worth the long drive to get there. Didn't offer a store/boutique to buy a gift or souvenir. Felt like you were walking into their kitchen , weird feeling.

Although it is out of the way, the trip to Newman Estate Winery is worthwhile especially since it is the only place you can purchase their wines. We had purchased Newman wines two years previously and my daughter insisted we purchase more on this trip....More

We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wine at this small estate winery on Prince Edward Island. The winemaker was on hand to pour the tasting and he knew his stuff (he was educated at UC Davis, the premier oenology program in...More

While touring Prince Edward Island, we wanted to visit a winery and picked Newman Estates because it is one of the smallest. They only produce around 8000 bottles a year. We pulled up unannounced, and were greeted at the door by the owner, Mark. The...More

I don’t think Newman has fruit wines. They are fairly new and concentrate on 2 varieties of grape. Also, the small island wineries are seasonal (ie. closed now). Rossignol is open “ by appointment or by chance” during the off... More
