This is definitely worth the detour to see on the coast of PEI. The red cliffs along the water are beautiful and the sight of the lighthouse is wonderful. A good place to see while on PEI.

By family came across this lighthouse along our travels and went in to do the climb to the top, very affordable and was offered a guided tour which we did. Staff was friendly and informative, nice little history stop for the kids.

The lighthouse is quite well-maintained and there is a little museum inside. The site of the lighthouse is very beautiful. Since it's the tip of the south-east portion of the island, Cape Breton and Antigonish are visible. There's a nice look-off as well that overlooks...More

Off the beaten path....but worth seeing if you are in the area. A piece of history that has been lovingly restored by locals and cared for by locals when open. These people deserve our support for their work of love.

This lighthouse was fun to climb inside! Love getting to the top and enjoying the view, always a rush. Bottom floor is a store and has very nice wares made locally. One surprise, was that they sell wooden or metal lobster traps for $5.00. We...More
