The palm trees and rounded rocks are a lovely backdrop. You cannot see the beach from the main road. Sometimes the locals will come on the beach with some cooked food to sell. The massages on the beach are cheaper than the main resorts. The...More

Love this beach, great swimming at the north end and 2 excellent restaurants. Ignore the negative reviews, we visited many times in July 2016 and January 2018 and the beach was always immaculate and the sea beautifully clear. Relaxing with hardly any beach sellers, great for...More

This is a picturesque beach good for sunbathing. Water level is not very deep and hence not a swimming beach. Was over crowded on a day the sun was out.

There is not much to do on this beach. In the center of Silver Beach there are kayaks for hire. You can rent them by the hour and do a little adventure tour around the rocks at the end of the beach. You will also...More

We travelled here from Maenam for the day and it was well worth the visit. The South part by the Black Pearl restaurant has some rocks which gives some reasonable snorkelling. The sea is very clear.

Fantastic clean beach and clear water. Recommend car and bike parking out on the main road as the vehicle parking by the beach itself can be chock-a-block. Suggest you bring a beach towel and a shade of some sort as the sun can get very...More

Beaut fine white sand. Not too crowded. Several restaurants and hotels on the beach. Safe for kids. Very gentle incline into the water. A few boulders, a few sea lice, but poor visibility in July.

you really need to get on a boat and visit the islands. generally there is no good off-beach snorkelling in Koh Samui. same goes for Kao Lak - you need to go to the Similan or Surin islands.
