You'll read lots of various reviews but this is not a hike. It's a five-minute stroll through a very interesting valley to a gorgeous waterfall. This is for people from infants to age 90. I would highly recommend it for those who want to see some nature but cannot do any type of hiking. Well worth the drive. Will take no more than 15 minutes.

It was quite hard to find the parking lot to this fall and it's quite small. There are no signs of where to go after you're parked. We saw people walking out to the road, and found a small walkway that leads to the entrance of the park.

A nice stroll on an easy pathway leads to Margaret Falls. We find this a hidden gem in this park. We couldn't believe that such a nice waterfall can be found in a provincial park.

Since I have a bad knee and didn`t want to walk very far. I found the walk from the parking lot, not that far. it was very interesting with lots of big trees, some leaning over
several short bridges, and just a wonderful walk in the forest. Both my wife and I agreed we want to come back. I`ve already told some family and friends about how we loved it, I also posted photos on Facebook for my over 2100 F.B. Friends to see.
always love to see natural attractions.

We arrived and there were many cars circling around the parking lot unable to park near the falls. The overflow parking was 1/2 mile DOWN the road which made it impossible for us to manage the walk back up to the trail head. We did find the Dog Beach park very nice with restrooms and an amazing playground. We wish we could’ve seen the falls and will arrive earlier in the future when the parking lot is hopefully not already full.

Came out today to visit this spot--Only to find out that the falls are closed--Would be really nice if that information was on the web site--Jim McKissock

It is a short walk up to the very impressive falls, and they are worth the visit. The walls of the canyon are impressive and it is just a lovely place to be. I imagine the falls must be tremendous during the spring runoff!
Enjoy.

Please disregard other reviews. The Margaret Falls trail washed out in May of 2017, it remains closed for construction. Do not enter
The Reineker creek trail system is OPEN. There is a great 2.5km hike, but you will not see the falls.

A little off the beaten track but worth the visit. Lots of trees down when we visited but the path was still passable.

Yes, this is a lovely spot! Have been going there for years. But....it was washed out in spring of 2017, and won't be open to the public for at least another year.

Drive up to Harold Park and you will see the parking lot for Margaret Falls on your left. It is well worth the detour off the Trans Canada highway to stretch your legs and see some pretty views, including the water falls. The path is easy and it is not a long hike to get to the falls. This wide path is suitable for almost everyone!
