I guess my group's expectation was a bit high. The trail is narrow and mostly uphill and there is a part where you have to grab some roots to hold onto to ensure you make it safe (not sure if that is safe as well..) There is no washroom in the area or garbage bins so make sure to deal with all of your business before you go for it. The falls is not as majestic as you'd expect...it's so so...

This is a short, level walk that takes you under the highway to the stream and falls. There are tables by the stream for those who are looking for an easy stop for lunch. The washrooms were locked when we were there - suspect they might only be in use when the zip-line is active. Park on the town-side of the highway to access the falls.

Excellent, moderate hike through woods with a 500 foot elevation into cool, shady woods. The falls were great in fall.

A local recommended this little hike to us while we were on holidays. It was about an hour round trip. The website classifies the hike as easy and the signpost at the trailhead says difficult. IMHO it’s moderate. A mostly uphill little dirt trail will take you to the falls. There are a number of switchbacks (feel the burn) and I guarantee you’ll be breathing hard. I estimate about 125m altitude gain, perhaps some other hikers can validate my guess. The falls are picturesque and you do get to experience that joy of accomplishing a worthy goal when you reach them.
