Would highly recommend for some chilled out activities on Lake Como.
We’d not done paddleboarding before so it was perfect for us to give it a go without loads of boats around etc. like other places on the lake.
Staff were really friendly and allowed us flexibility with our bookings (it was pretty quiet so we switched what order we did the activities in).
A heads up that the town is very small/quiet so we hopped back on the ferry after we’d finished kayaking and paddleboarding.

I have booked a boat without license for 3 hours. It allows you to enter the three arms of the Como Lake and to stop for a swim. I rented with my 12 years-old son; ideally, the boats can take 4 persons.
The staff is very professional and clear about all instructions, making the step very easy. It is a nice team of young people talking fluently English.
Once you are on the lake, you can alternate full speed cruising with slow passages. The view on the mountains, the villages and villas is unique.
For my son and me, it was the highlight of our one-week holiday.

Rented a boat for 4 hours, quick and easy to navigate.
Staff was very helpful and gave us a map of the best sites to check out, but I think 5-6 hours would be better if you are planning on taking a dive in the lake which I recommend.
Overall this was a 10/10

We almost missed out on this because of the weather but fortunately the captain was willing to change the time to accommodate us. Six of us (3 couples) went for a 2 hour private tour of the lake. The captain was very knowledgeable about the area as he grew up on the lake. We had a beautiful time enjoying the views and drinking Prosecco from a beautiful limousine-style boat. It felt very bougie and was worth every penny for my 50th birthday celebration! Definitely a highlight that we will be talking about for a long time!

We had a fantastic time at Lake Como but our experience with Boat2Go was by far the highlight. Hiring a boat for yourself is the best way to see the lake. You can avoid the crowds and select where you want to go. As well as seeing the sights we also pulled up in quiet secluded bays with stunning backdrops to eat lunch and swim. It is possible to cover a surprisingly large amount of distance in half a day. The service was first class and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for the team who were able to provide us with towels, a cooler and a map and highlight key areas of interest. The boats are in great condition, modern and fast. Having hired other boats on the lakes these were the best, I am even told the boats are made at a location further round Lake Como. The price is also reasonable when you consider that everything (fuel, insurance etc) is included and joining a guided ferry tour would be a similar price (but much worse).
In summary this has to be the best way to see Lake Como, well worth it even if you need to drive a while to get there.

we don't spend enough words to describe our boats, last boats built by Tullio Abbate before he died for Covid, we will never enough prod for this choice, these trimaran boats are really fast, thank you Tullio

Great option to enjoy Lake Como by being in the water and not crammed with tourists.
We are a group fo friends and rented stand up paddle boards and kayaks for one hour. The staff was wonderful. It is an independent rental, so we were able to go out and enjoy Lake Como without a guide or being packed in by tourists. Super flexible. Can book rentals online or in person. Emma was wonderful help! Staff spoke English. And told us which way to paddle based on wind conditions. Great independent and active sports activity. We even swam in the lake midway through our rental!

Staff were very nice and helpful and the kayaks were very affordable, but very much beginner friendly. We enjoyed chilling on the lake taking it all in, and had a nice swim too which was amazing. Would definitely recommend to people wanting a scenic and unique perspective of the lake.

Best Boat Rental in Como, went with my girlfriend, the owners are nice guys who were great with helping guide us to the boats, explaining how to use it, and all with smile and cheer.
Recommend 100%, especially for couples looking to relax.
The boat is locally made is top quality, the pricing is best in the area.

The staff at Boats2Go at Vassena were friendly and accommodating. They responded promptly to our email enquiry and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable 2 hour kayak on the beautiful Lake Como. Being monolingual Australians, we appreciated the staff’s proficiency in English and ability to answer our questions… even looking up ferry timetables for us. Even the small touch of providing each of us with a bottle of cold water prior to us setting off was an indication of the attention to detail provided by this company.

We went sailing for 4 hours and this is great because then you can view a large part of Lake Como. Very nice and very beautiful. You can see the towns and beautiful houses clearly from the waterfront. It is usually quiet but sometimes busy. (near Bellagio) Doable for a tourist.

Yes you can, depending on the weather, if the lake is a little choppy it can take about 45 mins from where you start to get to Bellagio, the views along the way are amazing though. Plenty of places to pull in along the way.

Hi, my boyfriend and I are coming to Milan in a few weeks and would love to kayak on lake Como. My only concern is how to get to Boat2Go. From Milan we are going to get the train to Como, then the slow ferry to Bellagio, but how would we then get from there to Boat2Go if neither of us drive? Are there taxis?

There is a good availability of taxis in Bellagio. Boats 2 go are only 10 minutes away. Approximately €10 taxi. It is worth it as b2g are amazing.
