A nice spot to view the inlet and the surrounding areas. Historical without feeling developed, you stand there more for the view and the wind than and edification. You can see why someone would want to build a castle here.

Visited with a party of school children as part of their topic work - an exciting day out with role play against the backdrop of the castle. Good fun for all.

What a super place to wander around, the castle ruins are interesting. There is loads of space to sit down on the grass and the views over the estuary are great.

Yes it's all good for a pushchair. May be a little bumpy in places but generally ok.
