We just chanced upon this village then ended spending a couple of quiet chilled hours there. 2 restaurants/bars in a village with few people although it didn’t feel touristy. Beautiful views as it is on a hill. It felt untouched

The little village of Volpaia is very pretty. It’s a medieval village with only 40 residents. We had a lunch at the Ucci Bar which was fantastic. The wine tour was lead by Marco. We were his first tour group ever. He did a great...More

This is a tiny little town near Radda that is worth driving to. Not many tourists but a lot to enjoy as you walk around.

There is not a whole lot to see once you arrive as it is a small quiet hill town but well worth the visit. The drive up the hill is wonderful and great for photos. There is a winery and they also sell a great...More

Volpaia is located just 15 minutes north of Radda in the Chianti region, up winding roads. The fortified medieval hamlet from the 11th century, still devoted to wine-making, is like a step back in time! Here you’ll find a quiet and picturesque village not overrun...More

Peaceful and beautiful. We walked here from Radda , although a little steep towards the end, well worth it. And three restaurants to choose from when you get there.
