We stayed on the beach facing Caranguejo do Olavo, we went at low tide and there came a time when the beach completely dried up. The landscape is very beautiful, we went on a day that was super quiet, with few people. But we later learned that it would be better to go at full tide, because we would have more time to enjoy the beach. If you go to Caranguejo do Olavo, I recommend trying the shrimp cake, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, delicious! Parking at the restaurant is free.

One of the best beaches in the Christmas region. It is recommended to go when the tide tab is below 0.5. We don't understand why. With the high tide, the waves cross the reefs and form the pools, hot, nice. When the tide drops again, the water from the natural pool flows. Dry. Ficamos na barraca da dona Neide. Very well served. Very good food, price compatible. Very family environment. No annoying music. Much peace. The experience was great. I recommend.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen...It has a barrier reef that ends up forming a delicious natural pool!
The place is perfect and peaceful, it has several restaurants. We stayed at the Porto Parus restaurant. Don't miss this paradise.

Nice beach with calm waters to dive in... Really friendly!

This was a lovely place to visit. The ocean made a little bay to swim and enjoy the relaxing. Got to be careful because there's an opening in the reef and are rip currents towards the wide ocean. Enjoy the local people how sell there stuff on the beach. We had a great time

I loved that it had no waves. The tide rises in the afternoon so go in the AM. There is less beach to walk on. Perfect for kids. Would definitely return We ate at Alapaki Praia Bar and the food was good.

Camurupim beach is perfect for those who do not like strong waves. Because of barrier reef, in the low tide the beach becomes a natural pool. You can float, relax, and just feel good in the clear water, and once you get thirsty or hungry, just call the waiter who will bring you a drink or food right there, by the beach. A place to spend hours just enjoying the sun and warm water.

At low tide, a pool forms between the beach and the reef. There are a number of restaurants. It gets crowed during weekends.

We spend a nice day in this beatiful place, the clear water is warm and there are several options for food. Faciliies are poor, like showers and clean toilets.

Camurupim Beach is an awesome place; in the low tide, pools are formed between the barrier reef and the shore. The water is crystal clear and warm, very relaxing and perfect for families with small children. As the tide rises and the sea advances over the barrier reef, lovely and not long lived water falls are created. Several rustic restaurants offer delicious snacks and meals. Camurupim Beach is about 30 km away from Natal, along a well paved road. To get there from Natal, you can either hire a shared van or a private car. We opted for a chauffeured private car, and were luck to get in touch with Mr. Kennedy, a Natal taxi driver. He was very friendly and helpful, and took us not only to Camurupim Beach but to other places as well, including Pipa Beach, Carcará and Arituba Lagoons. If you plan to go on a distress-free sightseeing tour of the Natal attractions, it might be a good idea to try and contact Mr. Kennedy through your hotel reception. I reckon that in Natal there can not be many taxi drivers called Kennedy!

Igual sigue siendo excelente. Más temprano parece un estanquen el mar. Disfruten
