The castle looks beautiful from the outside. I can not comment on the inside as it was closed (apparently for months) because of construction. This is not an information I could find online so it was a little disappointing to drive away without seeing much.

We was going to the caves on a day out and we could see this castle on the way there. after the caves we thought we would visit it on the way back. It was only 1/2 hour from the caves so no big detour....More

Restored Gothic and Renascence Castle. Pretty good from the outside, i payed the entrance to have a look in the inside. What it looks like is that they are still restoring so it doesn’t really have anything in the inside. It was a little disappointment...More

Visited during the Fiesta de S. Pedro this castle was lit up at night. They shoot fireworks from it's ramparts on the final day of the festival, pretty cool to see. The castle itself is an old Moorish fort which was reconquested and rebuilt in...More

Lovely little castle. Beautifully lit at night. Situated above town with small steep windy road access.

Lovely small castle, lovely views, quite different from other castles I've seen before! Worth to see for its uniqueness and breathtaking views

Take some time to visit Porto de Mós and its Castle. With its different architecture you should definitively wonder why is it built this way. Curiosity is such an important feature to travel and visit different places :-)

Nice castle in Porto de Mós. The two towers have a green roof, never seen that before. Inside there's not much to see, only temporary exhibitions but you don't go up there for the inside. The view over the surrounding landscape makes it worthwhile. Entrance...More
