Poor chocolate tasting

Good place for understanding cacao plantation. However, I would like a longer walk in the plantation including picking fruits. The tasting in the end was not very good

Hi Mattias, thank you for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your visit. 🍃🍂🍫😎 The cacao / cocoa plant and fruit are very delicate. If you remember from the walk in the plantation, the fruit has to be cut at a precise angle so it can regrow again. All the leaves on the ground are left for cushion if a... More

I went to El Sendero del Cacao. The place is super special. So cute. From the beginning they received us with a hot chocolate cup, from their plantations. A lot of explanations about the grow of the chocolate (you can see the plantations, the history, where they process the chocolate, until you can use it. Later, you can enter to... More

This was such an interesting and educational trip. As Canadians we do not have cacao plantations and to be able to experience the whole process from planting right through to eating the chocolate was wonderful. I brought some back to Canada for my sister who found it to be of excellent quality.
