Great getaway beach near Taranto with soft sand, crystal clear water and a few restaurants/bars with good food and service. Public beach and you can rent chairs and umbrellas here

In fact, this Silvana beach is an entire basin that contains several small basins mostly narrow and little accessible. Yesterday I ventured to discover this location recommended by a friend
The first difficulty is that there are only two parking lots, well apart from each other and to access the several small bays you have to take a long walk, otherwise if you are lucky you find a parking space on the street. On the side of the free beaches is a caciara of umbrellas on top of each other with people standing next to you. The only beach equipped is Fata Morgana with exaggerated prices. The only point in favor of the whole basin that we found after a half day of intolerance was the restaurant "Lo scoglio" which offered us a good lunch. For the rest it is all in absolute oblivion.

Wide beach of light sand, served by a kiosk bar where you can consume food and drinks at reasonable prices. The sea is splendid and several meters low (ideal for those with children). You can rent deckchairs and umbrellas at a low cost. TOP

The private beach is certainly beautiful but expensive, €70 for two deckchairs and a parasol and at this price, the shower to rinse off is not included, you have to add euros.

Beach I've been going to for years, cozy and with crystal clear water in the morning. A beautiful place to watch the colors of the sun set

....of fine, white sand. Presence of two equipped beaches (Fata Morgana and Lido Persenofe) and a bar that rents sunbeds and umbrellas to be set up on the spot. There is also a sailing club. Not very large free beach. Crystal clear water that becomes high very gradually. Being a bay the direction of the wind can cause accumulation of poseidonia in some places.

The sea is enchanting and the beach is not too crowded compared to other areas further south of the coast (Porto Cesareo area). There is a free beach, alternating with private beaches. The equipped beach is untouchable. The largest one (with white umbrellas) asks for 90 euros per umbrella and deckchairs in the front row (August 2023), plus the entry price of 15 euros (as if that wasn't enough). In short, a legalized theft, to be absolutely avoided.

Nothing to say about the sea and the beach, always top.. the place that serves the beach (vanilla, I mean) on the other hand.. anything but top.. I don't recommend the panzerotti because they certainly don't know how to make them.. they look like pre-frozen panzerotti from supermarket; I can't comment on the rest as I haven't tasted anything else. A really negative note, but which I suggest the owners work on are the timing and methods. You can't wait an hour and a quarter for 8 panzerotti at the table. ..If it weren't for the fact that you charge before the consumer I would have already gone somewhere else.. furthermore, manners.. kindness and a smile to the customer should be the basis. I do not recommend this place, there is better..
