IF you're in the area of the 1,000 lingas. Check out what is supposed to be the largest reclining Buddha in Cambodia! Might as well as the road coming up to the national park is one way up in the morning and one way down in the afternoon. There's a small village and waterfalls that you can visit at the same.

Stretching approximately 25 feet in length, this makes it the largest reclining Buddha in Cambodia and one of the 30 longest in Asia.... The statue is carved into a huge natural sandstone boulder

The pagoda is located near the Kulen mountain and the thousand lingas and is said to have the largest reclining Buddha statue in Cambodia. The statue is located at a height and you need to climb a series of steps to reach it. The large site is also home to many other Buddha statues as well as statues of many Hindu gods.

The pagoda is located in a traditional Cambodian village and there is a small local market around it where you can buy traditional Cambodian goods and souvenirs. It is located at a height and can be reached by climbing a series of naga steps.

The pagoda is part of the Phnom Kulen National Park and it is best to combine a visit to it with the nearby waterfall and thousand lingas - it is too far from Siem Reap to justify a trip on its own. The road to it is one-way only - uphill in the morning and down in the afternoon. It is around a one and a half to two hours drive from Siem Reap. So you need to start early. Thankfully the drive up the hill is scenic and offers great views.

This Pagoda is uphill from the 1000 lingas site. It is serene and place is filled with local tribes selling the goods, who are very courteous. surprisingly, the tender coconuts at this place are not from the sea and are grown on the mountains which is very sweet as informed by the local tribes. For Buddhists it is a sacred place as the largest sand stone reclining Buddha and the Matsya Avatar of MahaVishnu is located here.
