My daughter and I rocked up here after doing Sculptures in the Scrub. We wanted to see what was here but also thank the staff who had emailed info to me prior to coming and also discussed road options, as it rained before coming and some roads were closed. There are many displays to check out and the staff are... More

This is a place you will not regret visiting and will spend more time investigating as it is so informative. The displays are excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Don't miss the DVD about the sculptures, brilliant. This area has so much to offer visitors. Make sure you go to the sculptures too.

We visited this centre in May 2016 before heading to the Pilliga State Forest. This centre has a display of fauna, flora, and Aboriginal cultural heritage, well worth an hour to take it all in. The staff are very knowledgable about the area including the Pilliga State Forest. Not to be missed!

Very informative and knowledgeable staff at the Centre. There was an interesting display of old historical photos that I found fascinating. there are also audio and visual presentations and left sized stuffed animals and birds to see. I wouldn't miss it!

The Pilliga Forest Discovery Centre is must for visitors to Baradine. It is filled with taxidermied animals so you can get up close and have a look at some of the wildlife the Pilliga has to offer. Interactive draws, rolling blocks, pull-up cards and colouring sheets will grab the kids attention and encourage learning. Learn about the artesian sharks, history... More

Made several visits to the Pilliga Forest Discovery Centre recently while driving around the whole of the Pilliga. Every person was more than helpful, the information was great and the available literature excellent. Also, the various items for sale were of very good quality. One other point - the town of Baradine is really charming - beautifully maintained gardens and... More
