What an amazing museum! A must see if you are in the area and have at least an hour. Sooooo much to see and read about. Well put together museum and well labelled. $3 per person. The building was made for the museum and has a main floor and several second level exhibits. There is a recreation of a trappers cabin. There is a five-legged squirrel! Then there are a couple of outbuildings with an old ambulance and a wild snowmobile. Several pieces of farm equipment outside.

Dropped by as I was headed back to Peace River on 744, and wow! What an incredible collection! The Girouxville Museum covers a lot of the rural life of the Falher-Girouxville area, and its largely Francophone culture. They have all kinds of artefacts from trucks, to farm machinery, to old cameras. Admission is by donation. Drop in!

This museum is well done and full of interesting items to see. It has covered the past life in Alberta, Canada. The history recorded here will be of interest to many people.
Come have a walk down memory lane. You will surely find a story to remember.
