What a wonderful place for families, dog walkers, bird spotters. The steam train is really good, not cheap I have to say, but for a once off its fine. It's magical at Christmas, beautiful in the summer. Definitely worth going 10/10

Plenty to do whether you like to walk, run, cycle our sail. There is also a fantastic steam railway, museum and cafe which serves the best Bread Pudding in the area! Thanks to council and volunteer support it's all free except the bread pudding!

A really nice little walk around the lake and a nice cafe for a bite to eat. Would be a good place for picnics or to take the kids with open spaces and a park.

Try silver birches caravan park, this is also a campsite nearby if you supply your own van etc. I hope this helps.
