We have been here many times and just love going back and forth on the train. I could spend hours just watching the countryside slide by. The museum is fascinating and more has been added in the years we have been coming here so never boring. Plenty of walking areas too and little rooms with info and things for sale.... More

The entire team were delighted to be there themselves & to extend a friendly, courteous, 'professional' & the warmest welcome possible to visitors throughout the day. Really looking forward to the next journey.

The Isle of Wight steam train is one of the biggest attractions. It travels through the countryside, and has special days out. The museum is really good, there is also a café. Great for all ages.

I did my research and managed to get discounted tickets (using my Tesco club card points). Well my other half could not have been more excited. He has never been on a steam train before and... More

Sit back and enjoy the lovely Isle Of Wight coungtryside. Sometimes they even have a fish and chip supper, I love travelling on this train, they have made the carriages really nice. There is also the train museum, which is very interesting.

This is the Island of my youth (70+ years ago!) still puffing away - a bit like me really. A true bit of history for modern families with the train and stations tended by genuine enthusiasts.

A lovely review, thank you for your kind words. Whilst the Railway is not now running, it is only just over a month to our first operating day on Sunday 19 March. A huge amount of work is underway to ensure that both our trains and the site is pristine for our 2017 season. We look forward to welcoming all... More

While the rest of our party were out shopping, I took my elderly mother for a ride on the steam train. We had been on this line a few years previously but it's always worth another visit! Although it was quite busy we didn't have to queue long for our tickets nor have to wait too long for the next... More
