Went there on a food tour and did the wine tasting with lunch. Normally I am a white wine fan and not so into red wine but the Pinot Noir 2013 was great. Unfortunately they were out of the Sauvignon Blanc. The lunch was delicious. Had the baked mushrooms with haloumi - yummi. The other dishes (lamb or salmon) also... More

We had seafood chowder with crusty bread, marinated mushrooms with hallucinating, Char grilled Bruny Island lamb chalets, cake with ice-cream (flavor of strawberry, rhubarb and ginger). Everything's quite good except waiting for a bit too long. The impressed one was the homemade ice-cream. During wine tasting, I loved the apple cider (with raspberry added) and bought one as souvenir. Every... More

Called in for some quick wine tasting late in the day to what is apparently Australia's southernmost vineyard. The Sauvignon Blanc was very sweet, nearly comparable to moscato. The Pinot noir with a bit more age (2013) was most appealing to my palate, grabbed a bottle for $60 to put away for a special occasion. There is also a restaurant... More

Sumptious Lunch, Great Service, Extensive Menu Selection for vegetarians, poultry, seafood and meat eaters. All at my table gave the same review 'yum, yum, yum.' I'd recommend this foodie venue to anyone who likes excellent local beautifully cooked and presented food and did I forget to mention wine/

I was so happy we had lunch here. We dined alfresco overlooking the vineyard. I was tired of fish and chips and wanted to try something different. I ordered the wallaby and loved every morsel of this beautifully prepared dish. We also tried the rose wine and found it delightful. This place served my favorite meal in all of Tasmania.

There's only a handful of places to eat on Bruny Island and this is one of them. Although we weren't that hungry we decided to have a light lunch. Just as well we arrived when we did which was a little before 12 noon, because more and more people kept turning up. By the time we left, most tables were... More

Had a lot better from the pub on Bruny island. So disappointed with the food. Had the steak, asked for it to be between medium and well done, came out almost raw, had to be taken back. I hate to have things taken back, but if it's not right????. Also asked for Sticky date pudding to take away, when we... More

Good food and good portions too! The service was great, we had a glass of wine which wasn't initially described in the best way but they exchanged it for another glass which was perfect. They have two dogs on site that are beautiful dogs and it was great to watch them play and welcome all the arriving guests! Well worth... More

Took the Ferry over to Bruney Island for the day and made our way to Bruney Island Premium Wines for lunch. There was 11 of us on the day, made our reservation which was essential as the place was packed. The restaurant is a shed, does not look like too much from the dirt road but then we weren't there...
