This is a beautiful very clean beach. So glad we stopped here. We were only on the island for 6 hours and it was suggested we stop here. Loved it.

Its a nice beach to visit but not a must see attraction. If you have time you can go and spend a couple of hours.

We went to the dog friendly part of the beach. It was so nice to include our puppy during our beach day as many beaches do not allow pets.

Enjoyed the beach and the swimming. The family liked it. Would go there again. Public bathrooms not clean. the beaches were clean.

Gorgeous sandy beach with sand bars. Little ice cream shop there and store and try the fish and chips place across the street . It’s windy. Bring a kite to fly ! Perfection.

Great beach. Safe swimming for kids and good facilities. Nice to see a foot washing station for the paddlers amongst us. We'll worth a visit.

We had visit the Dog Friendly area of the beach. It was clean free of garbage and trash. The sand was nice and free of rocks. Even though it was busy there was plenty of room to play games and toss balls/Frisbees. The water was cool but not as cold as I expected it to be.

We expected the worst given the popularity of this beach, but didn’t find it. The length of this beach meant that even though it was busy on a hot summer day, we easily found a place to park the car and settle ourselves. The beach area was clean and there was not excessive noise. Amenities like a change room, ice cream shop, lighthouse and chair for photo op, and playground enhanced the experience. The only thing I would say is that this beach doesn’t get deep fast so if you are looking for a place to actually swim rather than play, you might have better luck elsewhere.

Both the beach and the boardwalk are beautiful and lengthy. There is play equipment for kids and exercise equipment for adults. There is a place to get food but as it was late in the season, it was closed (there second week of Sept). Providence was extremely quiet by that time. Bring your food and drink and maybe a book and enjoy the area.

Beautiful beach. Cold, clear water. Nice boardwalk. The Monarch butterflies come here on their migration. Sand is beautiful Great playground l.
