This monastery just stole our hearts ! An hour or so away from Yerevan, the drive is worth not dozing off in the car. At the monastery, you'll see plenty of people with their selfie sticks trying to get the perfect picture. The monastery is...More

Listed as a very touristic place, this monastery is very beautiful and even in a summer weekend is not very crowded. Of course the few tourists are disturbing pictures, but I must say this is one the best seen in Armenia.

The ride from the main road towards Noravank is special in itself, due to the gorgeous views during the trip. When arriving at the complex, the beautiful buildings look very appealing. Great site to spend an hour or so and to enjoy the scenery!

The monastery is one of many in Armenia, but also one of the nicest. The nature around it is without vegetation, what makes impression. It has several buildings with nice reliefs and paintings.

This monastery built in 13th century is religiously significant since it is believed to have been spared by Mongols due to the relief of God with large almond shaped eyes. Similar to other monasteries in Armenia this is also built on a hill and offers...More

Most of the road will be covered by a car. You need to walk about 2 mins to reach the church. The road is very lovely and it's a must see place. Go for it!!
