We arrived hiking from the Seven Lakes (see my review) at Chukupak Lake, then down to the Alplager mountain hut, and up to Kulikalon lake, one hour further are the Dushakha lakes, quieter and stunning also. The trek from Artuch to Chimtarga and the lakes at Kulikalon is steep, if you are carrying tents etc. I would recommend a donkey unless you favour a good work out then carry, once you arrive at 3000m you will feel a calm from the surrounding lakes and Juniper trees and the views of the glacier at Chimtarga are amazing.

Wow, Kulikalon (in Tajik Big Lake) was a cool discovery. I reached the lakes on a 2,5hs easy hike starting from Artuch camping place. Incredible nature and amazing lakes, one different from the other. We set up our camp close to the path leading to the Alauddin Pass, on the lake shore. Simply beautiful!
