Seriously, if it wasn't so hard to get to, this would be the most famous beach on earth. No where else (that I know of) can you find dunes which then seamlessly turn into a beach. It is seriously amazing.

Shocking place. The desert and the sea come together creating a unique landscape that looks like something out of another planet. The Taroa Dunes, located on the La Guajira Peninsula, offer an unforgettable experience. These towering sand formations descend gently to meet the Caribbean Sea, creating a striking contrast between the arid desert heat and ocean blue.

Spectacular Taroa Dunes. You must carry enough hydration. Keep in mind that the sea is dangerous in this place.
