I am from Colombia and I live in Colombia, but I have never been in this place. It is a place that must be visited, the views are awesome and there a lot of activities and extreme things to do. Perfect for couples, friends or families. You can find several restaurants there

Chicamocha national park is a must when visiting Bucaramanga in east of Colombia. A great natural park, this amazing location offers you the chance to view and travel inside a great canyon of the Chicamocha river. 1 hour away from Bucaramanga you could visit this place directly in the park, or from Mesa de Los Santos area where you can also enjoy plenty of other sites worthwhile the visit.

such a beautiful mauntains ranges the gran canyon chicamocha the place to be ,we definitely recomended in colombia . The Chicamocha Canyon started forming in the Early Oligocene, when Colombia was undergoing a tectonically active phase of the Andean orogeny.Chicamocha Canyon has a very pleasant climate, with temperatures ranging from 11°C to 32°C, day and night. It is also extremely dry, with a scant vegetable covering, and sits at an altitude of around 1,450 meters above sea level.

This is an amazing place to see, and there are tons of activities to do once in there, the most important to do is to the the cable car and cross the canyon. If actually goes all the way down the canyon and then back up to the other side, so you get to experience two of the many climates that Colombia has to offer. The whole cable trip takes about an hour round trip, and it is a little scary at the beginning because of the view, but you get used to it rather quickly. I suggest to arrive early so you can experience all the things that they have to offer. We arrive in the mid morning and did not get the time to do everything. There is also a water park so you can turn this visit to a two days trip, and the weather there is just find to enjoy a water park. They take credit/debit cards to pay for the entry tickets. Parking is paid in cash

This place is incredible. The park is well maintained and offers different type of activities for everyone. If you are not afraid of heights, the cable car between the park and Los Santos is a must. The trip takes about 25 minutes each way, where you can see all the beauty of the canyon. There are different restaurants inside the park with different food options.
