It's eleven euros to get into this attraction which isn't exactly cheap but you do get an audio guide in your own language to take round with you and can proceed at your own speed. This fascinating site has plenty to look at plus a playground for the kiddies and a cafe. Well worth a visit but you need to... More

Freindly staff, small cafe, below ground was interesting and the recordings was informative, the lighting could be better in the fenced off tunnels etc, and it would have been better if the flue terminals where revealed above ground. The Go Ape course was brillant for the kids about E12 and that's for all day, there's four courses with lots of... More

On one of our last days, this fantastic place seemed to be a revelation. At a cool 8 degrees underground, you can barely imagine what it would have been like to live in it! They cleverly moved chimneys under buildings on the surface so the Germans would only see Mills or bakeries, in order to hide. You are given a... More

There is a large underground city here that was built over many centuries and lately used during WWII. It is a very interesting visit and you spend a couple of hours wondering in dark corridors, rooms.....with the odd bat flying around (be careful not to spike them with flash fotos). The park outside is nice too, however the games for... More

The children's play park was closed. Disappointing for our young son who had to walk past it all - and it looked so appealing! If the park being open is important to your visit, it might be worth checking it's open first. Caves were interesting but we were not blown away by the experience.

The park outside was closed. Try explaining to a 6 year old that we have to walk past this fun park to get to see the ducks but we're not allowed to used the fun park!

Dropped in to see the underground city. Fascinating hour or so of history, old and new, and also an enjoyable walk around the park afterwards. I could imagine this would be good on a rainy day but there's also plenty to do for small children with a very pleasant park full of animals. We noticed quite extensive playground equipment which... Had a rainy day and decided to visit the underground city, really pleased we did as it was a fascinating place and surprisingly had few visitors. Large car park which was good for our motorhome, and well signposted. Nice café with friendly staff, expect to spend around one hour underground. Taking a torch would be good as the lighting was... This was by far the best attraction we visited during our trip to Amiens. The underground city has a history that spans centuries, and was used as a hide-out during the WWII. We really enjoyed the historical and archaeological explanations on the audioguides (included in the entrance fees), and found it most fascinating. Before you head underground, there are also...
