My partner and I stayed at the Noah Beach camping spot in Cape Tribulation - it is a really quiet and stunning place to camp, right on the beach. It gets a bit rowdy on the weekends and you have to be prepared to kick people out of your spot that try and stay there without booking their own site... More

The Daintree area is a great day trip from Cairns - but make sure you start early as there's lots to see on the way and lots of stopping required

The adventure starts once you cross the Daintree river with a ferry because you'll be all the time inside the Daintree Rainforest National Park. Amazing views (Alexandra Lookout), unexpected places (Cape Tribulation and beach), interesting walking trail (Marrdja Boardwalk). All these features make it an unforgetable journey.

Fiona at Paradise Wheels gave us a great map and explained and highlighted all the points of interest. There are so many points of interest along the way you could never see all of them in one day. The... More

Well worth a visit though admission is quite pricy. Lots of informative signage. A high tower to climb to look over the canopy. Cassowaries in the area - if you are lucky.

If you've never been to a rain forest before and you happen to be in Australia, Daintree is an excellent example. While it rained every afternoon and most overnights we had reasonably good weather during the day. The rains made the waterfalls flow and the foliage green. To celebrate Australia Day, we drove up from Palm Cove up to Cape... More

We travelled as a group and did the crocodile boat tour which was a great experience. I would recommend this activity in you are visiting the Daintree region, being physically on the river was an amazing experience
