'An ancient, Arcadian country estate' With a 125 acre estate of fine trees and open skies, Morden Hall Park is a tranquil hideaway enveloped by London. Follow the River Wandle as it meanders serenely through the park and under the ornate bridges. The atmospheric wetlands provide a natural haven for an abundance of wildlife including kingfishers, herons and dragonflies. For our young explorers we have a natural play area where you can fly through the air on the zip wire before building your very own secret den in the woods. Events run throughout the year, from family trails to summer theatre and open air cinema nestled amongst the roses. 'In each and every season, Morden Hall Park is yours to explore' The Potting Shed cafe serves fresh, seasonal food including home baked cakes and treats. If you're looking for a special gift or simply want to treat yourself, take inspiration from our Garden Centre.

Had a Rose tour with the resident gardener (Free). Most informative and the smell as we went round from one boarder to another was heavenly. Worth seeing evening if you are not a gardener.

Being members of NT always good to visit parks. Well kept, great rose gardens and walks by the river. The Snuff Mill is worth reading about. Walked to the community farm. A good place all-round

Really good option in the concrete jungle for a nice walk. It has a lovely coffee shop (can be busy) and a good garden centre, plus a few other smaller shops. It can get busy parking wise, but that's to be expected. Great one for...More

I am interested in star gazing as I see it's popular here. is the park open each evening to star gaze or are there ends being held?

Star gazing is not the best here due to the amount of street lighting around and the high rise areas of Phipps Bridge. You'd be better at Non Such Park or further along at Box Hill.
Is it free to enter the park?

There is a large car park that serves the Garden Centre as well as the site, it gets busy at week ends
