Beautifull to look, amazing architectural tresor and full of historical artifact, this lighthouse is worth the detour. you can enjoy a complete visit from bottom to top for only 5$ per adult. dont loose your time over smaller, less welcoming lighthouse.

Thanks for the great review. We're so glad you enjoyed your visit!

Way over priced for what they offered. New England styled chowder was 'brothy'. I've been to beautiful chowder houses near lighthouses up and down the East coast and this was by far, the worst!

Hello, you ate at the Point Prim Chowderhouse which is right next door to the lighthouse. We do not serve food at the lighthouse.

This is an excellent PEI lighthouse to visit, as previously noted! Also of note is the quality goods (pottery, jewellery, furniture, art) that are available in the adjacent gift shop. A very enjoyable place to stop in, after enjoying the other great gift shops in...More

Well worth the few dollars to walk to the top of this lighthouse. My kids were interested in listening and talking to the HAM radio operators in the main floor.

breath taking views after you climb the stairs (more like ladders, there is NO elevator) make sure you bring the camera because there is NO WAY you are going down and up again. Enjoy yourself . . . . .

We were at Point Prim last week for a girls get away. This lighthouse allows the option of GOING INSIDE and CLIMBING TO THE TOP - which we discovered is RARE and not available at the other lighthouses we visited in PEI. The fee to...More

Numerous lighthouses, but this one is worth the drive, Historical landmark. Built in 1845. Picturesque with awesome views of the coastline, Staff warm and welcoming. Lovely gift shoppe, but pieces from local artisans on the "pricey" side. Ample parking area, picnic tables and sand box...More
