Numerous lighthouses, but this one is worth the drive, Historical landmark. Built in 1845. Picturesque with awesome views of the coastline, Staff warm and welcoming. Lovely gift shoppe, but pieces from local artisans on the "pricey" side. Ample parking area, picnic tables and sand box...More

It's a pretty drive (aren't they all?) and you are rewarded by an open historic lighthouse. You can climb up 60 feet, chat with very enthusiastic guides/staff and learn about the lighthouse. They've just installed the old light on a new turntable, so you can...More

We were very excited to visit this Lighthouse, and we weren't disappointed. To climb up the inside and get to the top was a treat, seeing how a lighthouse keeper lived, various different lenses and lights that had been used over the years, and even...More

This was my first lighthouse visit and I really liked it. This one was more authentic with displays on each level showing how the keeper would have lived. Very steep stairways up- my friend stopped halfway... Amazing views from the top. Admission was $5 and...More

Check out the lighthouse at sunsets or visit during the day to climb to the top. No better view on the island.

We were at the lighthouse at sunset in the off-season. Surprisingly, there were no other people there. The restaurant was closed. The scenery, despite the biting wind, was definitely worth the trip. See the photos and judge for yourself.

My daughter and I climbed to the top. Stairs are ladder like and straight up. May not be suitable for older people. The climb certainly works muscles you didn't know you had ... Lived the view at the top. The drive there was very picturesque.
