This was a fantastic experience - thrilling and great fun. We were lucky enough to do it on one of the highest tide days of the year, which helped, but I'm confident it would be fun at any time. Derek was a fabulous guide and I had complete confidence in him, especially after hearing how experienced he is. I was worried about falling out of the boat but two of our group did and it really wasn't a big deal. We were soaked and filthy by the end (I really recommend borrowing shoes from the huge selection available - one less thing to clean afterwards) but had an awesome time.

I was not ready for this level of excitement. Still am on the high from our adventure, and it is added to things to do each summer 100% The kids (8 & 13) had a blast mud sliding (me too lol) and to give an idea there was 2 couple in their 70`s with us! I cant compare, but we were randomly there on extreme tide days, but I can only say that the phenomenon of the Bay of Fundy is something quite spectacular!!! The team was super nice and everything was well organized! Don`t miss out!!!!

We’ve rafted river rapids and we are kayakers too. But this tidal bore trip was like nothing we’ve ever experienced. The guide/boat driver was fantastic and the whole trip was so fun, exciting and a totally different river ride. Hopping over waves and getting soaked as you hang on while laughing all the way. I wish I could post pictures but you can’t bring a camera unless it’s waterproof. But they send you a video of the trip for a totally reasonable price. Do not miss this trip and if you haven’t left home yet pack clothes you don’t care about because you will be SOAKED AND SMILING!
Additionally there’s lots of eagles on the shore and swooping for fish.

What a terrific way to do something different with family or friends! The staff was very well organized. Riding the standing waves is an adventure but we felt completely safe with Captain Morgan at the helm. Our whole family jumped in the river to feel the waves and then slid on the mud. The hot showers at the end rounded out a wonderful morning!

This was one of the top adventures we’ve ever had. Ryan captained our boat on the last day for him and he did not hold back! He took us head on into the biggest waves, skimmed across the Shubie River, and made sure we had a complete blast - thanks for being the best, Ryan! My favorite part was floating down the river and we loved mud sliding. The showers were hot and wonderful. Don’t wait - book your rafting trip with Fundy Tidal Bore Adventures today!

We travelled with friends from Alberta to the maritimes and did this excursion on recommendation from others. It far exceeded our expectations!
We did the 2 hour A trip with Kate as our guide. I can’t express how wild of a ride it was and how much fun we had! Mudsliding was a blast!
Riding the tidal bore is an experience that is hard to describe but was so much fun! I didn’t fully appreciate how wet you get. Fortunately it was a beautiful day and warm showers are available at the end. If I can give one piece of advice it would be to wear a bathing suit!
I highly recommend this activity if in the area. You won’t regret it!

While working for another Rafting company, with no support. My boat failed to work just as we pushed off, as the bore was headed toward us....I was floating with a boat " recently fixed "
Morgan, the owner of this company, who is not responsible for us, took the time to give the hand signal, " Are you ok "--
While floating with my customers, who kept in good spirits as I entertained them and talked about the history of the river and watched the huge waves we missed as we floated.
Not only will this company give you, safety and a great experience your boat will most likely, not break down and if it does, he has a spare out there.
Thanks again !!

Natasha do you remember if you did the 2hr A (start in low/slow water) or 2hr B (start in busy water for the full 2 hrs)? My kids are similar age and I am trying to make summer holiday plans,

Can my 8 year old participate with a parent? And, when does the season start? We hope to be in the area early June.

Absolutely a supervised child can go. They have all the safety gear and are all certified. Everybody wears a life vest. The water will be OK in June but not like august or September and rain suites are provided to block wind. If you have one that fits him or her good you should take it. Its a big, wet, roller coaster with professional guides. If they sit near the back its less dramatic. The guides won't lie to you. Ask them directly.
