Lots of fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Mud slide was awesome, but riding the waves as the best part. Safety issues were well handled

It was an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed my time out on the river with a fantastic crew on the boat and getting into the action. Tim our guide was very keen on giving us a fantastic experience and definitely recommend it to those who like the water and looking for wildlife. I would definitely participate in the future and everyone should check it out!!

We ended our East Coast Trip with the 2 hour Fundy Tidal Bore Adventures. This was recommended by our friends who had done it before and were joining us. Booking was easy online and we were greeted at check in by the friendly owner. They were accommodating in getting us all on the same boat even though we had booked separately. We knew to dress for the mud and had brought water shoes but they do have shoes available if needed. The experience of watching the tide come in was really neat and the rafting was a lot of fun as was the mud sliding. Morgan was a great captain who made it fun and kept us safe. Our kids (16 & 14) said it was the best part of our trip. Definitely recommend this fun experience!

We were recommended to try this by the local visitors centre and were lucky enough to get two spaces at short notice. Not only was it great fun doing the mud slide the rafting itself was full on and an amazing natural event. We did the 4 hr option doing both down stream of the bridge then following the bore upstream. It was worth doing both but if you can only do one I'd go for option A starting at the mouth and working back up to the bridge. The company provides jackets but they are just to stop the wind- they wont keep you dry. Photos dont do the experince justice.

I had great tidal bore experience with them. It is definitely an adventure as the company name indicates. Our guide Cruz is amazing with his driving skills which got all of us socking wet head to toe. He is also very flexible and original when it comes to activities above and in the water as well as with the waves and tidal bore. The staff is so nice and friendly too. They made sure all of us were taken care of and feel comfortable. They are highly recommended!

You’ll get soaked and covered in mud - it’s a blast! We opted for the 4 hour ride and we are so happy we did. Tons of people we met along the way recommended this and when we showed up, many people had done this several times before which is a testament to how much fun it is. Our guide, Andyn, made sure every wave along the way made its way into the boat, while we laughed for hours. The float section was very relaxing and watching the bore enter the river is something everybody needs to experience.

We had booked this experience for our last day on the east coast and the old adage, "save the best for last," definitely rings true in this case! From the booking experience, right down to the warm showers at the end, Fundy Tidal Bore Adventures doesn't miss a beat! I had made an error when I originally booked, and it was all taken care of within minutes of realizing my mistake! The staff are so warm and friendly, and answered any questions we had! Our guide, Tim, was a riot and made everyone on the boat feel at ease, and once he realized our comfort levels, ensured that we experienced the best waves! Worth every penny and more! We will definitely remember this outing for years to come! Highly recommend getting the GoPro footage for bragging rights!

Our guide was amazing, and the entire experience was amazing! So much fun from start to finish . Mud sliding was a blast and the really of the tidal bore can't be beat.

We had been in the area for a couple days but never near the river when the tide was coming in, so we were a little skeptical of this tidal bore rafting concept, haha. It surpassed our expectations. It was fun but also really interesting and cool how the tide creates these waves. They had the timing down perfectly and were well in control of the boats. Our boat driver was very nice. Also had fun doing the mud sliding (it was funny how the adults were more into it than the teens in our boat). The four hour tour was a little long as it's a lot of bumping around. It was also a overcast and a little cooler, so 4 hrs probably would have been perfect if it were warmer!

We did this trip for as part of a significant birthday. What a great time. Tim was our guide and did a fantastic job of finding some great waves for us. We were one of the last boats on and Tim did a drive by the viewing platform so some family members for others on the boat could get pictures.
The mud sliding portion was really fun. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but am super glad that we did it! Expect to find clay and slit everywhere even after rinsing and showering. 😀
Highly recommend this as a trip to do something different and enjoy what nature has to offer. We saw at least five bald eagles while we were on our trip. One took particular interest in us and followed over us for a minute or so.
Get muddy and wet and have fun!

Natasha do you remember if you did the 2hr A (start in low/slow water) or 2hr B (start in busy water for the full 2 hrs)? My kids are similar age and I am trying to make summer holiday plans,

Can my 8 year old participate with a parent? And, when does the season start? We hope to be in the area early June.

Absolutely a supervised child can go. They have all the safety gear and are all certified. Everybody wears a life vest. The water will be OK in June but not like august or September and rain suites are provided to block wind. If you have one that fits him or her good you should take it. Its a big, wet, roller coaster with professional guides. If they sit near the back its less dramatic. The guides won't lie to you. Ask them directly.
