My daughter and I recently visited Nova Scotia and spent the day with Fundy Tidal Bore Adventures.

The booking was very easy and we recived all the necessary emails with confirmation and reminders. The website was very detialed as to what to expect, what to pack and when to arrive.

Check in was very easy with lots of parking. Ample time to prepare before our 4 hour trip. We were then introced to our guides and given soem final details and sent on our way.

Our guide was Haleigh and she was amazing. She introcueded herself and asked us about our tirip and what we were looking to do during the rafting trip. She covered all the saftey topics and got us out on the river. The scenery on the way out was beautiful and we saw a lot of Eagles. We then went to the slide area and had so much fun. Do pack clotes that you wont mind throwing away when the trip is over. We spent aroudn 20 minutes playing in the mud and everyone had so much fun. Got washed off and back into the boats and headed to see the bore.

The waves came up quick and big and Haleigh made sure we hit every single one. I have been white water rafting several times and this was far better than those trips. The waves are big and having a Zodiac with a motor allows you do do the rapids/waves several times before mving onto the next section up the river as the tide comes in.

We did the 4 hour trip and got to do both sections comapred to the 2 hour trip. After we were done we docked back at where we started. The building has nice hot showers which is a must to get all the mud, dirt and salt off. I just threw my clothes away.

I highly reccomend Fundy Tidal Bore and the only negative is I wish they had a stoe on site as I woudl have loved to purchase my daughter and I either a shirt of a hat.

Great tour comapny and 5 stars to Haleigh.

Fantastic good fun. Everything about our two hour trip was great. Captain Morgan was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour that made the trip even more fun. Would highly recommend, we plan on doing the four hour trip out next time in NS.

What a fantastic opportunity to experience the tide as it comes in. Our guide, Kim, was so great! Her knowledge of the tidal bore phenomenon and her stories about growing up on the shores of the "Shube" river really made it even better. When we were heading out, we had no idea what to expect, so when the rapids came as a result of the incoming tide, we were all fascinated. We went in mid-August, so the water was warm, however, borrow one of their rain jackets to help from getting too cold, but do be forewarned, you WILL get wet! That's part of the fun. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty in, becuase the tour also include the mudsliding. Originally, we didn't want to to do this, but the "mud" is unlike other mud - it's more claylike, so it's super soft and slippery! Also, there are warm showers available post ride. Do bring a change of clothes and some shampoo and soap for the showers. If you want footage of your ride, opt to get the Go Pro. So glad we did. And if you do plan on bringing your phone, be sure to have waterproof protection and make sure it's tied to you because things go flying! Hard to imaging rapids created by an incoming tide, but the sandbars make it all possible. I would do this again in a flash. 5 stars + from our family!!!

Absolutely fantastic time. Captain Morgan was amazing!!! The entire 2 hour trip was full of fun and adrenaline packed. We went during extreme tide and would do it again in a second. I would never have thought that a water soaked boat ride could be so much fun. Highly recommend.

When we were in Nova Scotia on holidays we decided to go on this adventure with our friends from Nova Scotia. Olivia was our guide and was informative and became more fun as the ride went along. We really enjoyed mudsliding and laughed alot! It was amazing to see the sandbars disappear as the tides came in. When we started hitting the waves and the water came straight at us it was so fun but felt safe. Our only regret was not taking a camera and asking Olivia to take pics a couple times.

We had the best time today with Fundy Tidal Bore Adventures! We couldn't ask for a better Captain than Captain Cruz! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave us lots of time on the mudslide, but made sure we were in the boats in time for the Tidal Bore while the competition company were scrambling for their boats and missed the initial Tidal Bore. It was a truly amazing experience and our family had an absolute blast! Five out of five is not enough!

Amazing! Exceed my expectations in both fun and organization :) Great driver in Tia - she kept things fun and exciting the whole 2 hours. A must experience in high tide :) My 7 year old is now an adrenalin junkie :) hahaha - safe and fun for the whole family.

Not exactly what I expected, but attacking the standing waves with the raft was incredible. A couple of times the raft was totally underwater. It drained quickly and being full of air there was no danger of sinking. My wife said it was our wildest adventure to date. Chris was a great guide and was very entertaining . I had a little trouble getting the video from the trip, but email to the outfitter was answered quickly and the problems were resolved. Definitely a recommend from us.

A definite must. You can be told about the tides but to see and experience them it a whole different matter. We had 7 people from 9 to 62 on the raft and a good time was had by all. When the youngest was getting tired the guide listened and toned down the water for us, and still was immensely fun.
